Citizenship Oath Ceremony and Commemoration of the 1848 Revolution
Thursday, 22 March 2012 16:31On Saturday in Vancouver one hundred people took the oath of Hungarian citizenship, and a further three hundred took part in a commemoration event for the 1848 Revolution.

Commemoration on the 55th Anniversary of the 1956 Revolution
Saturday, 22 October 2011 21:42The Hungarian Society held a special event on the 23th of October to commemorate the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. The Hungarian Society Theater Group performed the Szerelmem, Magyar Katalin theater piece written by Zsolt Pozsgay.
Citizenship Applications in Vancouver
Friday, 14 October 2011 21:41In Vancouver, BC there were two occassions in October and in November respectively when Hungarians had the chance to submit in person their applications for the citizenship in the Hungarian Cultural Society, organized by the Honorary Consulate in Vancouver and conducted by the Embassy of Hungary in Ottawa.
